Our annual silent auction fundraising event is this Saturday. We'd love to see you all there. It's only $35 for appetizers and one free drink. There will wine and beer, music and dancing, and a silent and live auction. We will again be having the event at Occidental College, but in a brand new facility at Dumke Commons in Swan Hall.
The fun begins at 6:00 p.m.!
If you would like to attend this event, or have any questions, please send an email to email@example.com and we will be happy put you on the Guest List
Who We Are
Our foundation is basically a group of determined parent and teacher volunteers who are fighting to make sure the kids at our school get the educational opportunities they deserve.
Highlights of Our Accomplishments
We are currently partnering with ERGO to green the campus. We are also continuing to fund technology updates, arts enrichment, and basic classroom needs. We aim to bring our classrooms up to date with proper educational tools and technology. We’ll continue working to fund these projects and whatever other needs our school may face, especially in the face of severe budget cuts.
Who We Serve
Eagle Rock Elementary School, part of the Los Angeles Unified School District, educates over 1000 children, nearly two thirds of whom are members of low income families. The kids are diverse in every imaginable way including ethnically, linguistically and economically. Some students are classified as highly gifted; others have significant special needs. We’re proud that by working together the students and teachers have achieved the special designation of being a Blue Ribbon School and an “API” of 875.
How We Work
Our foundation is fortunate to be a project of Community Partners, which is an incubator that helps nourish young nonprofits. They give us our nonprofit status as a registered 501(c)3 organization, with the tax id number 95-4302067.
